O2 are...

O2 are the best mobile operator in the UK.

I used their online help system at 8am and within half an hour they had found the issue was with my SIM card and sent a new one to me.

It's just turned up so in less than 30 hours I'm back to using my mobile again and most of that time it was with Royal Mail so it was out of O2's hands in less than an hour and they didn't have a problem admitting the fault was with the SIM and they sent out a free replacement that worked the instant I put it into my phone!

O2 were my first ever mobile phone company and they will continue to be the best company out there, I reckon!

100% happy with everything... if you're in the UK and you're looking for an amazing company, then I'd say definitely go with O2!

Lunch today will consist of...

Steve didn't think we had any sprouts or brocolli in the big freezer, so he put them on the shopping that came yesterday evening.

He found a big bag of sprouts and a big bag of brocolli already in the freezer yesterday afternoon which was too late to change the order, so lunch tody is going to be sprouts, brocolli and eggs!  lol

We've got 2 dozen eggs, 2kg of sprouts and 2kg of brocolli to get through before Monday!  lol  Good job I like my veggies!

The pup walked an extra...

Just got back from walking the pup.  We walked an extra two thirds this morning... Mitzi wanted to double it but there's no way my legs would have let me!

We usually walk up and down the road 3 times, but the pup went up and down 5 times today... she started walking the 6th time, but my knees were going "don't you dare" so we came home and she's having her breakfast now!

Bless her little furry paws!

Bang on 6pm!

WTG Sainsburys!

I booked the 6-7pm slot and the delivery arrived at bang on 6pm.

M couldn't make it and Marie didn't make it either but I think we did OK between us!  Steve crow-barred in all the fridge and freezer stuff and we sorted the rest of it out between us.

I've got the Asprin to go in my bag in case anyone has a headache or anything, Steve got his paracetamol so just need to get the paracetamol and Ibruprofen for my bag next week, then we can just go back to getting the paracetamol for Steve after that.

So proud of both of us for doing a full shop all on our own again!

We makes a great team we does!

Lunch today is gonna be...

...macaronni cheese.  Yumsk!

Just cleared up about a tonne of...

Thanks to Steve holding the carrier bag open, I've just cleared up about a tonne of dog poo from the back yard.

The first scoopful caused a very minor argument 'cos I meant one thing and Steve thought I meant another but after we got that sorted, it was a lot easier.

We'll need to add nappy sacks to the grocery shopping soon though!  lol

Moving £10 a week into...

Just set up a standing order for £10 a week to go into my secondary account then I can divide up any left over between my two savings account so that I have a maximum of £250 in my main account at any time so that I'm not tempted to spend any money on things I don't need.

I'll use the savings accounts money for Namehog stuff and still have a spare £20 a month for clothes and stuff.

I worked out last night that I'll have paid off all my credit cards in about 4.5 years, which will leave me an extra £150 a month to put aside for savings and Namehog stuff.  The mortgage will be paid off around then too, so Steve will have a few hundred a month spare too!

I'm thinking of moving the £150 into Steve's account when I've paid off all my credit cards to hopefully help us to pay off the mortgage a few months earlier.  I know it's not much, but I want to help out as much as I can and for as long as I can.

What should I do with the extra pay day money please?

I get an extra £200 pay day on 16th which I've already got in my account to cover the bills then I get paid again on 30th and 31st January and again on 14th Feb to cover Feb's bills, so do I let us splash out on the groceries during January and let us easily go over £100 a week or do I start putting money aside every week for birthday and Yule gifts and stuff?

Any thoughts please?

Anyone?

The Bill is back on this morning, so...

Gonna watch The Bill and answer the door to Steve's carer, then get on with writing and hoping I'm not missing Masterchef 'cos it was on at the in-laws yesterday!
