I've just had my second carer of the day in to make my lunch for me and she was more interested in scrubbing the sink and draining board then re-doing the washing up than cooking because she didn't know how to cook anything other than rice because "I from Phillipines. Only cook rice".
Today's lunch, made entirely by me (other than literally draining the pasta), was pasta and sauce and it will be again for the next 3 days because there is so much sauce left in the pan. I can now make oven meals and pasta and sauce while the lunchtime carer is cleaning instead of cooking. I've got better portion control now though lol
