...I get to choose my lunches each day, I've decided that I'll be having loads of pasta and sauce and rice dishes 'cos there are about 8 jars of sauce in the cupboard that won't be used up any other way, so it'll be loads of pasta and rice until all the jars have been used up then I'll ask the carer if s/he can just stay with me while I do the oven meals. I can do really simple, single-step meals like onion rings and hash browns and waffles and chips but I can't deal with different timings and frying and boiling etc.
It's gonna take a while, but I'm desperate to stay living here independently and if that means I get carers in to make my meals, wash and dress me then so be it!
