What an absolute whirlwind!

My first carer of the day has been and gone already and she was like an absolute whirlwind!

She helped me to wash and dress for the first time in two decades and she swept the kitchen floor and helped me to recover and now that she's seen how much I struggle and how little hot water I can afford she'll hopefully report it back to her agency who will report it to my social worker who will have a better idea from someone independent how much I'm struggling already.

She's coming again tomorrow morning to do another washing and dressing session but now that it's happened once I know what to expect and I'm feeling a lot less vulnerable than I thought I would when I first woke up this morning.

I just hope she doesn't leave me in the lurch now that I've met her, started to get to know her and even begin to feel comfortable with her which is another thing I wasn't expecting an hour ago!
