Was today's lunchtime carer...

...actually forcefully helpful this afternoon?!

For the last few weeks I've been eating both meals in the kitchen and keeping my drinks on the floor because my other carers had been deciding that my living room table needed adjusting, so they gradually put enough pressure on the front of it that everything slid off so I couldn't use it for food or drinks any more.

Today's lunchtime carer decided that she'd adjust the table so that it was level again and I could eat and drink in here instead of in the kitchen.

It was still slopey, but sloping backwards by the time I'd finished my bowl of baked beans for lunch, so I nervously moved the front of the table down a bit and got it straighter and then nervously got myself a glass of water and put it on the table, ready to jump into action if it started sliding...

...thankfully it stayed put!

I've now got a table that I can eat and drink off again and it's slightly higher too, which will do wonders for my posture in the future too, so that I'm not crouched over it with my back constantly curled up!

I'm gonna give it 24 hours from now (ie until after lunch tomorrow) then make my final decision about if it's safe for me to use or not for meals and drinks... so far so good though!

My lower back is already complaining, so it's already working on my posture!

Time to get my lunch photo up and my to-do list updated.
