...my carer has just said that he's not going to be cooking for lunch today because he's going to cook tomorrow instead - when our groceries are due and he'll be too tired to cook after he's literally only swung the bags from one side of his body to the other then come in here and fallen asleep. He's got his regular medical appointment on Wednesday so won't cook then either, so that's three days (minimum) that I'll only be having breakfast. 371 calories a day is far from healthy, but I don't have a choice and I refuse to resort to relying on biscuits for my lunches for the third week on the trot. He's cooked two meals since 23rd October, which is far from the "every one of her meals" that he constantly tells anyone who will listen.
I've asked him to post a letter for me on Wednesday but can pretty much guarantee that he'll forget that too, so I'll have to struggle to the post box on under 1,120 total combined between now and when he gets home on Wednesday.
I've already cared for him for over 6½ hours so far today, so it's potentially a 12 hour day today and he's done bugger all to care for me, which means he's gotta care for me constantly between now and bedtime to hit the minimum of 5 hours a day, except that he's asleep right now, and will be deeply asleep when he starts snoring, so it's incredibly unlikely in reality that I'll even get 5 minutes of care out of him today and then tomorrow and Wednesday are gonna be the same, and any meals he does actually cook at the end of the week are gonna take half an hour maximum each, with the (very likely) assumption that he'll only cook once again this week, he'll be well over 30 hours below the required 35 hours a week.
I reckon this week is gonna be yet another 80 hour week for me, but apparently that's not enough to be classed as his carer, despite caring for him for well over double the amount that's needed. 😞
He's snoring now, so he'll be gone for a good few hours now and totally unable to meet the daily minimum of 5 hours before I head to bed tonight.
