  • Do morning laps - gonna leave it for another week so that I can recover from the last 6 weeks, but if my weight is where I want it to be on Monday then I'll re-start the laps next week
  • Attempt to sort out websites - apparently I need to talk to someone on Live Chat that isn't showing up in any of the 3 browsers I've tried lol
  • Get central heating installed - 8.30am start this morning - it's about 90% done now I think... just got a couple more bits to do, show me how it works and that's it then! - apparently they'll get everything in place by tomorrow, then get the plumber an electrician in at the start of next week to get it all finished and then bingo! - they are coming back to finish off on Tuesday and Wednesday next week - it'll all be finished today apparently and I can't wait!! - they seem to be just finishing up and doing the necessary paperwork now - still waiting for the electrician to turn up lol - the electricians have done what they needed to do, so it's just waiting on the emersion heater being filled with water, then the engineer works his magic et voila! - booked in for Sunday instead of Friday now - tomorrow's the day and I'm nervously excited about getting central heating for the first time in my life! - today's the day at long last! - they've just arrived... the end is in sight at last! - I'm now centrally heated and not cold for the first time in my life! - I've already used £1.14 of electricity since midnight while the central heating is coming up to the "desired temperature" of 20℃ but I was expecting that and it'll only be until the temperature is up to where it should be then it'll only turn on to bring the temperature back up apparently
  • Get solar panels put up and activated - they aren't able to put them up safely 'cos of the con artist roof repair so I've gotta get the roof sorted first before they try again unfortunately - the scaffolding is being taken down as I type this, so looks like I won't be getting them done any time soon after all - I've just been sent the photos of the work and it looks like the solar panels are up at the front of the house at least after all, so that's a relief!  A couple of people from the company are coming over on Monday afternoon to give everything a final check over and signed off then I can finally breathe a big sigh of relief! - someone is coming over this afternoon for all the final checks, activating the solar panels then hopefully putting the app on my phone so that I can monitor them or something - he was here and gone in under 5 minutes and apparently everything is fine and signed of now.  I'll get a pack with instructions for how to install the solar panel app on my phone, but the work has now, officially, finished!
