Back now!
Almost fell backwards as I was backing up to the shower stool, that I need to use to ensure my safety every time I have a shower, which severely knocked my confidence that I'd had. Then I almost slipped off the shower stool forwards which knocked the tiny amount of confidence I had left, so now I don't feel safe having a shower on my own any more and Steve won't want to spend half an hour watching out for me while I wash my body and hair then get out again.
It's like when I first felt able to have a bath on my own - Steve used to have to lower me into the bath in case I slipped and drowned and pull me to my feet when I got out 'cos my legs had seized up from being straight out and not moved for an hour. The first few times were nerve-wracking to say the least but I did it and I keep doing it so hopefully it'll be the same with the shower... face the fear and do it anyway kinda thing.
I can do it, I just need to slowly re-gain the confidence that I've now completely lost.

Just reviewed the jacket that arrived this morning. Gave it 4 stars 'cos it's not as warm as I'd hoped unfortunately. 😞 At least it fits me though and will keep me warmish when I walk the pup in cooler weather... won't be much use if it snows though 😞.
***
Prescription taken. Need to brush out my hair again before I go to bed to make sure it hasn't become knotted while it dried this afternoon.
***
Fourth survey of the day finito.
***
I'm not that tired but I'm heading to bed anyway for another early night, so nite nite orl! C U in the morning!

Product review: WearAll women's coat
⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
This coat arrived late morning and I've just tried it on.
It's good, just not as warm or long as I'd assumed from the photo. I can see myself wearing it in cooler weather, but anything below freezing kinda temperatures would offer not much warmth at all and it only comes to mid-thigh on me and I'm short (5 foot 1) so it would be even shorter on a taller lady!
If you're looking for a Winter jacket to keep you warm in the snow, you'll be disappointed and need to look elsewhere 'cos this is a light jacket that'll barely protect you in cooler weathers and that's why I'm knocking a star off. It's OK to wear between late Spring to early Autumn but if you're looking for a warm jacket for snowy weather, look elsewhere. Sorry.
It's good value for money, just not as warm as I was hoping is all.
Apparently I look like Paddington Bear with the hood up! lol
Wednesday 31st October 2018 - part 1
Just got back from walking and feeding the pup.
I would have been happy with 100%.
The pup kept walking to 200% which I was really happy with.
The pup kept walking, so we equalled the previous record of 250%.
The pup carried on walking, to an amazing 300%.
She wanted to keep walking but there's no way it would have been safe for me to walk her any further so we came home again.
That's 200% in the bank just from today! Added to the 200% that was already in the bank means there's 400% in there now after only 3 days!!
It's just the first 100% that the pup needs to be encouraged to walk but after that I just follow her.
Sorry we couldn't keep walking this morning, Pup, even though you wanted to!
***
That's me morning cocktail taken and Steve's gonna make me a mug of coffee when he comes out of the bathroom! Yay!
***
First survey of the day completed.
***
Virus and malware scan was clear... apparently it was 2 days ago that I last did a scan which was Monday! Oops! Totally forgot about it yesterday then!
***
Second survey done and dusted.
***
That's my prescription delivered already... I only ordered it on Sunday afternoon/early evening so it wasn't even known about until Monday morning and it's with me 2 days later! Fast work by my GP and the pharmacy! Just waiting for me new coat and boots to arrive now, then I'll go and have a shower and wash me hair ready for tomorrow!
***
That's the jacket just arrived, so just waiting for me boots now then I can have a shower and wash my hair!
***
A few minutes later, the boots arrived too! I'm gonna do a few more surveys then head into the shower I reckon!
***
Third survey completed so I'm gonna go and have the shower and wash me hair ready to have it trimmed tomorrow.
BBS!

Tuesday 30th October 2018
Steve phoned the Benefits Agency at bang on 8am and 6 minutes later it was sorted which means that there's 29 hours and 6 minutes left of care in the next 6 days.
I walked the pup while he was on the phone to them and after the initial Westitude she got her harness on and we did another 200% so take off the normal 100% that I'm happy with and that leaves 100%, add in yesterdays 100% takes us up to 200% in the bank after 2 days!
It's my feet and knees that are killing me today and I don't feel quite as zonked out as I did yesterday either so I'm gonna give it a week of doing 200% just to get us both used to it, then I'll increase the current 100% which is twice up and down between our neighbours to 3 times between our neighbours. She has to do the 200% for the rest of the week before that happens though so that we can slowly build it up and we both get used to it, rather than doing it suddenly and shocking both our bodies into agony and exhaustion so that we don't want to go out any more.
***
That's the email and photo's sent to the Benefits Agency now, so I can stop worrying about it until I get the decision.
Time to take my morning cocktail now.
***
They all went down surprisingly easily this morning! The Calcium was 2 mouthfuls of squash but the Iron and multi were only one mouthful each!!
Total awesomesauce!
***
Just had an email from Amazon.... the order of the jacket has been cancelled for some reason so they are refunding the amount of the gift card for me... means I'll have to go shopping for another coat/jacket instead, 'cos I'm too wide to get my arms into my current coat!
I know I don't go out very often, other than to walk the pup every morning, but I hate being cold so I need something to put on when I take her out!
***
Just bought a replacement coat and pair of boots and it only cost me £12.63! The boots will be here tomorrow and the coat on Thursday and I'll be warm and dry for any rain or snow that turns up when I've got them on! I could get used to this!
***
Just chased up the 2 watches too... very productive morning for me!

Second survey of the day completed... a nice quick one too, which is always good 'cos I get bored easily with longer surveys lol

That's me 2 silver rings doodah'd with spacer/adjuster things so there's no way they'll fall off any more now, thankfully. Bought the pack back in January and was very skeptical, but under £3 and on Prime (so free next day delivery) I had very little to lose if they didn't work.
They do though so I've saved myself from having to buy 5 rings all over again after losing a ring that fell off my little finger this time last year!
My wedding and engagement ring got binned along with my Nana's jewellery that had been left to me in my father's will all got binned when we had the first house tidying forced upon us by M while Steve was in hospital. I lost so much irreplaceable stuff back then - goodbye letters and drawings from the children I worked with before I left college, GH magasines, my NRA, childhood photo's and toys etc etc. 😒
***
Honest opinions please: We've got a young family next door to us and within the last week or so, they've started knocking on our door and scurrying off. That's fine by me in case they need us in an emergency or whatever.
Steve gets frustrated though at having to put his legs down (he has to keep them elevated for medical reasons) and go to the door to find nobody there.
Sooo, honest opinions please - are you with me or Steve?
One of the youngest ones saw me walking the pup yesterday morning and wanted to meet her, but the mum said no because they were rushing off somewhere. If the mum is happy for her children to meet the pup when they aren't in a rush and understands that I'll ask for the children to let the pup sniff their hands first before they stroke her then we can all benefit from it.
The pup's tail wags into oblivion each time she sees them but she's never been stroked by children AFAIK (she's a rescued old lady) so I'll be keeping a tight hold on her lead if it happens, just in case she changes her mind at any time, but I think, from what I've seen for the last couple of weeks, Mitzi will really enjoy meeting the youngsters and being gently stroked by someone she's never met before
That's beside the point of this message though! lol
My opinion is that the children should knock on our door and run away until they feel comfortable enough to stay for a little chat. Steve's opinion is that it shouldn't be allowed to happen unless it's a true emergency.
Who are you siding with on this please?
I'll still keep answering the door to them no matter what everyone's opinion is, I'm just after a general opinion poll amongst everyone who reads this is all 😃
***
The majority opinion on Facebook seems to be that I should say "someone keeps knocking on the door but by the time we answer it, there's nobody there! My hubby and I both struggle to get around and while we appreciate their visits, it'd be better to stay until we get to the door so that we can say hello to them. It's totally OK to knock on our door when they need help or just a chat or whatever, but can they stay there until we get there pretty please? We're not angry with them, but they need to stay at the door until we get there so that we don't have to rush to the door when there's nobody waiting for us" then introduce Mitzi and ask their mum if it's OK for them to stroke her gently. Whatever the mum says, goes. If Mum agrees then they need to let Mitzi sniff their hand first then gently stroke her head.
Thoughts please?

We did another 200% on the pup's walk this morning so there's already a day's walk (100%) in the bank and it's only Monday! WTG pup!

I've asked Steve to do 2 things as my paid carer today:
It's not like I ask a lot of him as my carer... maybe an hours worth a week instead of the 30 hours he's being paid for but he won't even do that!
***
That's me morning cocktail taken... struggled with the Multi again though 😟
***
I've asked Steve to do it in the recent past and he always says he will but he hasn't so far so I'm gonna publicly do it myself: He's being paid to care for me for 30 hours a week, so from now until Sunday I'll type out everything he does as my carer and how long it takes him.
I'll also type out what I've asked him to do and if he's done it or not.
I'll then do the same for the things I've done for him as HIS carer that I'm NOT being paid for.
We'll see exactly who does what for who and how long it takes them in 7 days time!
So far, Steve's brought the rubbish bag back into the house and closed the door while I was walking the pup. It took less than a minute to do so there's 29 hours and 59 minutes of care spread over the next seven days that he's being paid for.
Basically he's being paid for an average of 4 hours of care for me a day. He doesn't do that a MONTH!!
***
***
Credit where it's due... Steve's just called the Benefits Agency for me so I can take another 20 minutes off right now then time it again when he tries again when he gets back from the bathroom.
Right now, I've been cared for for 21 minutes out of the 30 hours he's being paid for, so I've still got 29 hours 39 minutes of caring left this week.
***
He's just found an email address for them online so that's another 3 minutes of care which takes the running total to 29 hours and 36 minutes left for this week.
***
I've just bought the recycling box in so that's 5 minutes of me caring for Steve so far this week.
***
Just heard back from the Benefits Agency - it's a tech support email address rather than an email address for the benefits department themselves. That gives Steve another few minutes of hanging around on the phone "later when they will be less busy" but it's only once every few years though, so I don't know why he's so reluctant to do it!
***
First survey of the day completed!
***
20 minutes later and he's given up for the day. Typical, innit! 29 hours and 16 minutes worth of care for the rest of the week... bet it won't get anywhere close to that though!!
***
Still virus and malware free, thankfully.
***
Second survey completed.
***
Steve reckons he's going to try calling the Benefits Agency as soon as they open at 8am tomorrow 'cos between us we've spent almost an hour waiting to get through today and we've both got sore arms from holding the phone to our ears! I just hope he really does 'cos all I want is a flippin' email address!
***
Third survey done and dusted.
***
Steve's just made me another bottle of squash so I can add 4 minutes on to this morning's total, which leaves 29 hours and 12 minutes for the rest of the week... he's done more to care for me today than he usually does in an entire week!! 😲
***
Fourth survey finito.
***
Five surveys so far today... another opinionated day for me! lol
***
The shopping came nice and early tonight... like within the first 3 minutes of the booked delivery time! Barely enough time to boil the kettle for Marie before she went to answer the door!
WTG Sainsbury's!
***
Just taken me prescription so it'll be kicking in soon. Gonna fill the plastic bag up with rubbish, take it through to the kitchen then head to bed for an early night, before 8pm amazingly!
Nite nite orl!

Sunday 28th October 2018
Exciting start to the day! There was, apparently, a short power cut, overnight.
Thankfully the virus scan had finished by the time it happened so I plugged my external hard drive in, to back up my likkle laptop and after it had done just over half of the backups, I got blue-screened!!
Everything was slow to start back up and the backup is running again now, I just hope it isn't a sign that today is gonna be a bad day is all!
***
The person who wanted the boxes has been offered as many as she needs so hopefully the watch lady will turn up at some point today, then it's just the jacket that will be delivered before 2nd November and that's it then!
***
That's the backup sorted for another week so I'm gonna walk the pup now and give my likkle laptop's battery a chance to cool down.
Back soon!
***
Back from walking our senior pup now... totally impressed by how far we both walked today - 200%!! I won't be able to move for the rest of the day now but there's 250% in the bank on the final day of the week which is so totally awesome. She debated on making it 250% but decided against it, thankfully. I'm aching all over, zonked out and it's a struggle to move my poor arms and legs now, but it was worth it to do double what I was happy with!
I just hope I don't have to move very far today!
Ooh! Also, I'm gonna take me pills at 7pm every day so that I can keep having early mornings again.
***
That's the recycling and rubbish taken out. Only a minor argument this morning. Bet I'll have to clear up and bin Mitzi's poo on my own again too. Steve says he's exhausted but he hasn't taken the pup out for double her walk this morning.
He's gone for a poo now so yep, I haven't got a choice about doing it on my own 😠
***
Just done it.
Alone.
Again.
I really can't move any more today now and it's only just gone 9am so the rest of the day is shot to pieces now. It'll be the same tomorrow too, bringing it all back in again.
Steve's being paid to be my carer for 30 hours a week. I'm lucky to get an hour in reality!
***
Next week I'm gonna take my lead from Steve. Won't even mention the rubbish, recycling or clearing up Mitzi's poo until he does, then I'll put the rubbish in the bag and that'll be it.
Same with bringing it in too. I'll take the pup for her walk and won't even mention bringing the box or bag in until Steve does then I'll let him do it all himself. Same as I do every week.
I'm so fuckin' fed up of doing all the household things and getting no thanks for it, so just for one week I'll leave it up to Steve to do and I'll expect 30 hours of care from him too.
That's what he's being paid to do, after all. 😠
***
The shopping this week will be about £48.05 yet only £3.15 of it is my stuff, plus the 40p for the bags and £1.90 for the voucher means that £5.45 of it is mine. £43 is just for Steve 'cos it's meat and dairy and things like that, yet he still expects me to pay for it every week despite less than 10% of the shopping being stuff I can eat.
He pays the mortgage and TV etc but still expects me to fork out £50 a month for the electric too. Over half of my benefits are purely for Steve's benefit.
***
Now he want's credit for shutting the back fucking door!
***
First survey of the day completed.
***
Just put in my repeat prescription request. Still got 15 days left but I'd rather put the request in early and know that it's done than putting the request in late and risk running out!
***
Second survey done and dusted.
***
That's me supplements taken. The Multi was a nightmare to swallow for some reason! Took half a litre of squash to get it down today!!
***
Gotta try and remember to phone the Benefits Agency tomorrow to ask for an email address to send a screenshot of my bank account balances to 'cos they've significantly changed since I filled in the form.
Just hope my brain damage is feeling like being kind to me tomorrow morning! lol
***
That's the quick virus scan finished... unsurprisingly there were no viruses 'cos it only finished checking 16 hours ago lol
***
Third survey of the day sorted.
***
It's all down-hill from here! Steve discovered my first grey hair this Summer just gone and now I'm starting to lose my hair too! I've got a small patch at the front of my head that's hairless and it wasn't like that last weekend!!
***
Fourth survey done and dusted
***
That's the watch gone so I'm off to bed now... nite nite orl!

Saturday 27th October 2018
After my early night last night, I was awake at 7am so I came down and found the virus scan at 47% so it did 21% in 12 hours.
Gonna take the pup out for her walk now, then take me supplements and check my email for the first time today.
***
That's the pup walked, fed and watered and the person is coming for their delivery that I took in on Thursday "later" so I'm wondering if the delivery bloke even put the card through his door like he said he was going to!
***
Time to take me supplements now... gotta turn the light back on first though, so that I can see what I'm doing!
***
That's the supplements taken. They all went down pretty easily today, thankfully!
***
Virus scan is at 49% now, so it does 2% an hour, so, in theory, it'll be finished in 25.5 hours time which'll be 10amish tomorrow which is totally groove and cooly!
***
Scratch that last one 'cos it's done another 1% in 2 minutes, so it'll be finished by the time I come down here tomorrow which is awesome!
***
It's obvious that there is something huuuge (probably my email folder lol) that takes 12 hours to scan then it zips along nice and quickly through the rest of my hard drive 'cos it's done the same amount in the last 12 hours that it took to do the first 26%! We're at 51% now.
***
My internet connection doesn't like Chrome for some bizarre reason this morning! 😕
***
My internet connection is mostly back, so it must just have been our ISP hiccuping for a few hours this morning!
The virus scan is at 64% now too and I'm reading another book by Jacqueline Wilson that's very very similar to the previous one I read by her... almost like almost all she's done is changed the character names and a few tiny details? I bet I know what will happen at the next and at the end of it though! 😒
She's famous though, so she's obviously given up on writing new material for each book! I hope I never get like that with my writing!
***
69% now... more than double what it was when I went to bed last night which means it should be comfortably completed by the time I come down tomorrow morning, then I can back up my hard drive and shut down for a couple of hours to let the battery cool down a bit... I love AVG!! It's so worth the peace of mind if you can afford to buy it but the free version is great too if you can't!
***
76% and I've just finished the book. As predicted, Double Trouble and this book are almost exactly the same. The only differences between them were twins and glasses and obviously the character names!
***
The person I promised the watch to can't come to pick it up today after all. She's coming "tomorrow or next week" and that's her third and final chance! If she doesn't turn up, I'll give it to one of the other 3 people who wanted it and hope that they're more reliable!!
Waiting for someone to get back to me about the cardboard boxes that are currently in the kitchen too!
***
Off to bed now that I know I don't need to wait any more. Another early night again, thankfully! I'm needing all the sleep I can get after my poorly bum keeping me up most of the night last week or the week before or whenever it was!
Nite nite orl!

Friday 26th October 2018
That's the pup walked and fed. She only wanted to do the 100% today, so there's still 150% in the bank.
***
Started off the weekly virus scan and we're up to 26% already and, in theory, will be finished in the early morning of Sunday 'cos it takes 45 hours to do a deep scan and I started it at 9.30am today.
Saying that though, the clocks go back tonight so it'll be done an hour later on Sunday. Means I get an extra hour in bed though! Yay!
***
Steve's finally gone to do a bottle of squash for me so that I can take the supplements when it's done.
***
That's the supplements swallowed and I was wrong about how much squash I needed to take them 'cos I only needed half the amount of the original bottle to swallow them today! Glad it's sorted now, so that the new bottle can keep me going for a few more days.
***
Two surveys done and dusted so far today.
***
Third survey of the day completed.
***
Fourth survey done and dusted and it's not even 4pm yet!
***
Taken me prescription now so I'm hoping for an early night tonight. Gonna head to bed at about 7pm hopefully... bet I'll still be awake at my normal bed time though! lol
***
Off to bed now... it's only 7.30pm so it's a much-needed early night!
Nite nite orl!

My favourite puppy started off with oozing Westitude at me this morning and refused to get her harness on!
When I eventually got the loop over her head, she suddenly lost the Westitude and trotted along to the bottom of the stairs so that I could do her harness up.
We only did 100% this morning, so there's still 150% in the bank. As long as she does 100% I'm not going to force her to do any more than that.
Time for me morning cocktail of pills now!
***
The Multi and Calcium went down OKish this morning but thankfully I got the Iron down before it exploded today. Five mouthfuls of squash for three pills ain't bad going for me!
***
That's my last PPI invoice paid and they're going to get the receipt in the post to me. Means I've got £221 left in my account until tomorrow when I'll get PIP so I'll be rolling in the money tomorrow! lol 😃 I'll be able to move the PIP money into my savings account so that I can start getting a couple of pennies interest a month. Better than nothing!
***
Still virus and malware free, thankfully
***
Heading to bed for a reasonably early night now. Nite nite orl!

The pup walked another 150% by mistake this morning so there's 150% in the bank after only 3 days!
Why did I write "by mistake"?
Because I was happy to come in after 100% but the pup carried on walking so I followed her for literally 2 or 3 steps then she stopped, looked at me, then at the door and I could see her brain going "what's going on here then?" and she tried to turn around to come home then, but there wasn't enough room on the pavement so we did an extra 50% and she definitely stopped at the right door then!
She pondered doing 200% for a few seconds, but decided against it.
Time for me supplements now.
***
Not a good morning for supplement taking today. The Calcium took 4 big mouthfuls, the Iron disintegrated and took 3 mouthfuls, while the multi took 1.5 mouthfuls to get down 'cos it stood up instead of laying flat so my gag reflex refused to let it all the way down 😕
They are taken now though, so don't need to worry until tonight for me prescription.
***
That's the first two trousers just been delivered, just waiting for the other two that are coming via Amazon Logistics today, the two watches that cost 1p each and the jacket/coat thing that I bought with my birthday vouchers to arrive, then that's it.
***
Put the purse and silver watch on Freegle... it's no wonder nobody replied 'cos the purse had been saved as a draft instead of being posted and the watch wasn't on there at all lol Good job I checked before binning them! lol
They've both been posted this morning though, so hopefully they'll be gone by the weekend.
***
That's the second package of trousers just arrived, so all I'm waiting for now is the watches and jacket. They've both been dispatched so they could turn up any time.
***
Just reviewed the first pair of 2 trousers that arrived with the post... it's on this blog and on Amazon if you want to go and have a read?
***
Still virus and malware free... I love AVG for constantly protecting me as soon as I turn the laptop on right up until it's shut down.
***
Blimey Charlie! I've already had one person wanting the purse and I only offered it 3.5 hours ago!! I've given the person my address and directions, so hopefully it'll be gone by this evening!!
***
Ah right, she wants to pick it up at about 3pm tomorrow which is totally fine by me!
Just the watch to go now then!
***
That's the last of my nephew's Yule gifts dispatched and it'll be here tomorrow. Just waiting on the watches and jacket to turn up now and the person from Freegle to arrive to pick up the purse then that's it. Just need to find gifts for both families and 2 friends then that's it sorted.

Product review: Pack of 2 Bootleg Stretch Ribbed Trousers
⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
These have just turned up and they fit perfectly, I'm only knocking the star off the full 5 because the legs are slightly too long and the material is very itchy so you really need to wear a pair of tights under them so that you aren't irritated within 10 minutes.
Other than that, they are perfect for office and every day wear and I can't fault the price I paid for them... they will become a firm favourite as soon as I've got a pair of tights to wear under them!

There's a huge rip in the knee of my purple trousers and my carer is refusing to search through the pile on top of the washer drier even though he knows full well that I'm a foot shorter than him so can't reach the top! Had to put on a pair of trousers that are waaaay too small around the waist for me and hope they didn't fall down on the pup's walk this morning.
Need to invest in some long skirts or elasticated waistband trousers instead! I know I've got at least 2 skirts and one other pair of trousers that fit me in the pile, I'm just not tall enough to go through it all to find them and my carer "can't be bothered to" even though he's being paid for 30 hours of care a week!!
***
The pup did 150% of her walk today and the trousers stayed up, thankfully! Gonna go and have a look on Amazon for more trousers now, before I forget though!
***
Just bought 4 trousers for under £30 on Amazon. Two will be here tomorrow and two on Thursday! They are petite with elasticated waists and the next size up because of the size 14 trousers and jeans I've already got being totally undoupable as well as showing me belly!
Assuming they all fit, I'll know that I'm size 16 clothes for tops as well as trousers/skirts. I've got huge boobs and a huge stomach... my boobs will only get bigger (as I loose weight) and me waist will slowly get smaller (as I loose weight) but right now I'm the same size for my whole body.
Anyone want to take bets on the trousers being too big because of the elasticated waist?? lol
***
Just put on the new t-shirt too. Waaaaay too big and baggy for the size I bought! 👎 You could easily fit my little nephew into it too without breaking it and he's 3 years old! 😲
Such are the joys of online shopping I guess.
***
First survey of the day completed.
***
The festive season has just, officially for me, started! I've just scoffed my first 3 mince pies of the season for me lunch.
***
Second survey of the day finito. Gonna try and persuade the hubby to put GOLD on for a while now, because of that survey!
***
Virus and malware free still.
***
Third survey done and dusted.
***
Apparently the clocks go back an hour on Saturday... I'll never remember! lol
I'm off to bed now... early night for me for a change.

After a very disturbed night with me bum (6 trips to the bathroom in 7.5 hours!!) I've finally totally emptied it... at least I hope I have!
***
Took the pup out for her walk and she was eager again this morning - came as soon as I called the magic word and we did 150% so we're only on the first day of seven and there's already 50% in the bank!
***
That's the recycling and the rubbish sorted for another week. Recycling box totally empty again and all the rubbish taken this week... for some reason they've been leaving the plastic wrapping from the multipack of toilet rolls in it each week, despite us putting it in bin bags!!
***
First coffee of the day in me mug... I'll need several mugs of coffee to keep me awake today! lol
***
It must be the middle of Winter with heavy snow, right? Steve's just put the heater on for the first time this season and he's always hot! We've been approved for the warm home discount so we'll be getting a chunk off our electricity bill sometime next year too! Just need to work on the new software information and I'll be sorted then!
Wish me luck! 😁
***
That's me 3 supplements taken. They all went down really easily this morning, so that's totally awesome!
***
That's the software bits sorted now and 3 book reviews done, so I can relax now.
Time for surveys until bedtime now!
***
Shopping is about to arrive, half an hour early, so I'll be able to have an early night tonight, thankfully!
***
That's the shopping been and gone. Steve's put the fridge stuff away and I brought a bottle of Bandelion and Durdock in for me along with the doughnuts, so I'm gonna take me pills now, then scoff the doughnuts and head to bed for a really early night, hoping that my bum behaves tonight!
***
First survey of the day done and dusted.
***
Right, I is off to bed for a well-deserved early night... I need all the sleep I can get after last night! Nite nite orl!

That's the puppy walked and fed, backup started and nearly finished so I've just gotta take me supplements now then re-word my query email for the 'Keep Out!' novel and I'll be all set for a relaxing day then!
***
Backup finished now, so I'll put me external hard drive away then sort out the query... wish me luck!
***
First survey of the day completed.
***
That's the recycling and bin put out. No arguments this week! I had to scrape up the pup's poo, bag it and bin it alone again though. All I ask Steve to do is to hold the bag open for me to put the poo in but he won't even do that most weeks!!
***
Just sorted out the top of the drawers with Steve's stuff on and put it in a carrier bag... Steve knotted the top and asked me to put it in the bin! If it was all rubbish, then why not bin it before you got your flippin' chair instead of just piling it up on top of the drawers then ignoring it.
Only took a couple of minutes for me to do as well! Tsk!
***
Next up is to sort out the bit by the side of the sofa, but that'll have to wait until next week 'cos there's no more room in the rubbish bag this week... there's a set of shelves with entirely Steve's stuff too so I'll get that sorted in 2 weeks time then I'll be able to move the stuff from the floor onto the shelves and we'll be sorted then!
***
Just bought the first mince pies of the festive season and it's only October! "If they're stupid enough to sell them so early, I'm stupid enough to buy 'em!" says Steve.
***
Have I taken my supplements?? I don't think I have, have I? Gonna take them now just to be sure... went straight from feeding the pup to doing my emails and taking surveys lol
***
I've definitely taken me 3 supplements now. I'm 97% sure I hadn't taken them this morning cos I would have remembered crunching up the Calcium which I'm pretty sure I didn't do... they are swallowed now though!
***
Second survey completed.
***
Right, gonna check my email one more time then head to bed... nite nite orl!

Saturday 20th October 2018
That's the puppy walked and she's still got most of yesterday's food in her bowl so I didn't need to feed her this morning.
Gonna take me supplements now and hope that I remember to put more entries into this blog post than I have for the last few days!
***
That's me supplements taken. The multivitamin was a nightmare to swallow this time though - 3 big mouthfuls of squash before it went down!! The Calcium went down OK I suppose and the Iron went down really easily, but the multi was a right royal PITA!
***
I forgot to publish yesterday's blog post but didn't realise until I saw that it was still a draft! It's published now though 👌
***
I forgot to do the deep virus scan too and there weren't any reminders in Thunderbird, so maybe I'm just doing the virus scan once a month instead of once a week now?
***
Had an email last night with one of my passwords in the subject line and the first paragraph of the message. Apparently they've put a trojan virus on my machine and they wanted $600 to delete the intimate content they found on my machine within 48 hours or they will send it to all my contacts.
IT'S A SCAM... DO NOT SEND THEM THE $600 THEY ARE ASKING FOR. THEY HAVEN'T PUT A VIRUS ON YOUR MACHINE AND THEY GOT YOUR PASSWORD FROM A DATABASE ONLINE!
If you send them the $600 they will have access to your bank account and will clear your account out.
It's a new scam that's doing the rounds.
They are preying on your fear of being infected by a virus to get your money in the full knowledge that what they are doing is totally legal because you chose to give them your bank account details when you paid the $600.
Do a deep virus and malware scan if you would feel reassured by doing it, but do not send them the money they are bribing you for. They are cyber criminals, nothing more, nothing less.
***
Another book read and reviewed on Amazon and my writing blog, just need to add it to the site and upload it now. Added a paragraph to my query email about where the story sits on the book shelf... it's kinda Billionaire Boy meets Double Act.
Gonna have a mug of tea, update the site with the reviews, then take me pills and head to bed for an early night for a change... bet I'm still awake at my normal time though! lol

That's the pup walked and fed... she was happy to go for her walk the first time I called "walkies" again and was happy with the 100% again, so we came home.
Gonna take me supplements and keep reading the book I started yesterday - hasn't got anything about bullying in it yet though, which was my whole reason for borrowing it!
***
That's me supplements taken.
They all behaved today and went down with one mouthful of squash each. Had an extra mouthful for the last few crumbs of the Calcium, but 99% went down with the first mouthful!
I can carry on with the reading now!
***
The watch I'm wearing atm cost almost £17 and the one in my drawer was £26 so when the battery on this watch runs out, I'm gonna put the £26 watch on me wrist and take this one down into town to get its battery replaced and swap them around like that each time.
Rather that than having to keep putting perfectly decent watches on Freegle 'cos I spent less than a tenner on them!
Just need to remember that now lol
***
Steve's Yule gift is being delivered today! Yay!
***
Steve's dressings and Yule pressie turned up within less than 5 minutes of each other. Literally.
C said he appreciated the birthday card and gift that I got for him and I've just finished reading and reviewing a Middle Grade book and it's only 2pm!
Gonna start reading the next book and hope it's better than the one I've just finished.
Achieved a lot already today!
***
That's 3 people's Yule gifts sorted... my little nephew was sorted back in June, Steve's was delivered this morning and Melanie's will be with her on 21st October, so I've just gotta get both sides of the family and C's gifts now then that's it! Yay!

Review: Mobile phone cover
⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
I bought this for my phone from a small, independent manufacturer that nobody seems to have heard of so didn't know what size cover I needed.
I bought this because it describes itself as universal and it fits my phone perfectly!
The only reason I'm knocking off a star is that it's starting to become frayed at the flap. It's still very much usable and I open/close the flap twice a day, so it's done me well to last this long, but maybe the flap material could be a bit stronger so that it didn't fray at the side?

Review: Personal safety alarm
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
I'm disabled and have accidentally driven my electric wheelchair off the kerb. I was totally alone and had no way of getting myself or my wheelchair back onto the pavement. Thankfully a knight in shining armour came to help me but I'm so nervous about going out in it alone now.
I also miscalculated how far I could walk and my knees gave way. Thankfully I was with a great friend who pulled me to my feet and helped me to get home.
If it hadn't been for those two men being there when I needed them, I don't know what I would have done.
With these alarms I can get attention if I need help again now. I've got one on my keys around my neck and one on my neck bag so I feel a lot safer now.

Just got back from taking the pup out for her walkies and was totally happy with 100% but she carried on walking so she forced me to follow her and she did an extra 50%! Four days into the week and we've only just made a deposit in the bank, but that's totally OK with me.
She was excited about going out this morning too and waddled over to me as soon as I called "walkies!" instead of having to fight to get her harness on and done up!
I definitely prefer mornings like this, but I'll be able to do very little else for the rest of the day now, while I recover!
***
Forgot to take me supplements this morning and I've spent the day waiting for someone on Freegle to contact me and I've spent all afternoon trying to find a Middle Grade book that heavily features bullying after being rejected twice this afternoon!
I've already taken me prescription and had me tea, so I'm gonna keep reading this book then have an early night... although it won't be that early 'cos I've still got ¾ of a can of pop to drink! lol
It's gonna be a really short blog post today 😉
***
Up to chapter 31 in the book which seems like as good a place as any to stop reading and head to bed!
Nite nite orl!

The pup was happy to go for her walk this morning and did 100% again then stood by the door to come back in and I wasn't going to force her to do any more than the 100% so we came in and I fed her. There's still nothing in the bank for this week yet, but that's OK as long as she goes for her walk every day and does the full length.
***
It's lunchtime and I haven't taken me supplements yet!
Woops!
I'll take 'em now, hold on!
***
👆 They're taken now. Pretty easily today, thankfully 👏. The Calcium took two mouthfuls of squash 🥃 and there was an annoying single crumb left after the second mouthful so I just swallowed it with the same mouthful as taking the Iron 👍.
***
First survey of the day done and dusted.
***
Second survey sorted.
***
Third survey of the day completed.
***
And another survey! I'm zipping through them this afternoon!
***
Five survey's completed... I'm on a roll today! lol

That's the sixth done and dusted. Another 2 pager so was done and dusted within a few minutes again!
***
Just been protected from a virus on a survey site by AVG... it's been a while since I've had a threat, but AVG has protected me again so it's worth the money yet again!
***
That one, the seventh of the day had one question on one page then that was it!
***
Eight down... what an awesome day of taking surveys!
***
I was invited to 70 or 80 surveys since I went to bed last night, so I completed 10% of the invites, which ain't bad going!
I'm going to bed now... nite nite orl!

Just got off the phone to 3 to cancel my contract.
The online chat with Gabriel last night had me willing to recommend 3 to anyone that asked, but not any more.
It took me 17 minutes and 43 seconds to get through the hard selling to keep me on 3... they were even willing to reduce the £27 a month to £5 for the same minutes, texts and data that I already had.
I repeatedly said no.
I've used the number 3 times in the 2 years so even at £5 I'd still be paying for minutes, data and texts that I didn't use.
He even had the cheek to ask me if I would recommend 3 to others. I would have if he hadn't done the hard sell on me, but not any more. Now I'll tell everyone to avoid 3 like the plague! Yes, the unlimited data is very tempting... it's what drew me into the contract with them in the first place, but after using it 1.5 times a year I would still be paying for things I didn't need or want.
If you're after a decent mobile phone SIM card provider in the UK, go with O2 instead of 3... much better service and while they don't offer unlimited data, they genuinely care and want to help!
***
That's the pup walked and fed.
The cat from the end of the road has been pooing outside someone else's door so I've given her my name and advised her to contact the council about it. She thought it was our pup at first, but when I asked her if the poo she was clearing up stank, she sniffed it and shot back. When she confirmed that it stank I said the same had happened to us and that we'd support her every step of the way.
We've been accused of not clearing up the pup's poo which has never happened, the cat has shat literally on our front doorstep twice and in our back yard twice so it's really putting this side of the street in a bad mood, but I refuse to be blamed for something a cat that doesn't even belong to us has done and we'll take it as far as next door wants to take it now that we have 2 households in the street complaining about it to the council!
It's even-Steven's now... 2 households against 2 households.
***
Taken me supplements... they all went down pretty easily today, thankfully!

That's me childcare CV sorted, just in case I don't get ESA in November... I sound pretty good on it, even if I do say so myself! lol
***
First survey of the day done and dusted... it was, amazingly, only 3 pages and one question on each page! It's done and dusted already though and I'll be getting credited in 3-7 days! Yay!!

Just the one survey today then 👌
I is cream crackered so I'm going to bed... nite nite orl!

That's the puppy walked and fed... it was soooo wet out there that I'm bound to get at least a cold from soggy daily walks, but needs must and all that jazz!
***
I've got literally one thing on today's grocery shop delivery. The other £57 is totally Steve's stuff. Last week I had 6 bottles of pop on there for myself, but literally the only thing on there this week that's mine is a £1.05 bottle of squash that we'll share anyway and £50 for the electric will come out of my account and into Steve's today, yet he won't even phone the freakin' vet for our pup and he's being paid to be my carer for 30 hours a week, yet I'm lucky to get that in 3 months!!
***
That's me supplements taken now... didn't go down as easily as yesterday, but by the same token it wasn't awful either, thankfully.
***
Just phoned Mitzi's vet about her biting and scratching herself. That's another thing that Steve's been promising to do for a couple of weeks but hasn't got around to it yet.
He's been my carer for a grand total of 2 hours this month, when he filled in the ESA form for me on Saturday. He's done bugger all else in the last 30 days - he should have provided 120 hours of care but I've had 2 hours of it in reality. 😡

That's C's birthday card and gift ordered then! I just hope he's home when it arrives 'cos there's no way it'll fit through his door! lol

Burger King meal for tea, so I'm shutting down now and doubt I'll log back on before I head to bed so nite nite orl!

Happy birthday Steve!!
He seems to like what me an' the pup got him... found humour in it instead of being offended thankfully!
Happy birthday again Steve!
***
Taken me 3 supplements with only 4 mouthfuls of squash this morning, which is a relief 'cos there were only 5 mouthfuls left in the bottle!
***
The intense virus scan finished at 1am and there were no viruses or malware found so I've backed everything up now and I'm about to take the pup for her morning stroll with me.
***
That's the 2 recycling boxes and rubbish bag out for another week... only a mini argument today... we're getting better at this! 💑😆
It's hosing it down out there so I'm gonna wait until it hopefully eases up a bit before I take the pup out for her walk.
***
That's the puppy walked... we were both reluctant to do the 100% but it's done with for the day now!
***
Yumsk!
Just had a meat-less and gravy-less Sunday lunch from the cafe again.
Today is the second one we've had from them and we'll definitely be going again and again!
Maybe not every week, but as an occassional treat it's the best!
Loadsa veggies and "half a cow" according to Steve this week! For under £15 we got 2 mains and a pud for Steve which is a lot healthier and yummier and cheaper than the take aways we seem to have most days!
Definitely another five star review from us again! Would be perfect if there was a vegetarian protein, but maybe there just aren't many vegetarians around here?
***
That's the pup's poo cleared up from the back yard and disposed of now, so we've just gotta bring everything back in when it's been collected tomorrow then that's it for another week!

Just paid the last £79.39 to the liquidation bods.
As predicted I didn't get to sleep until pretty much my normal bedtime despite going to bed a couple of hours early. Woke up with another splotty botty too, so, yet again, I'll be going back and forward urgently all day again. 😕
The intense scan is at 49% now so it'll be sorted by the time I come down tomorrow morning, then I can back up everything and turn my likkle laptop off to let the battery cool down.
***
10 minutes.
That's how long between visits to the bathroom today! 😟
***
50% now, so it's 1% every 10 minutes, so, in theory, it'll be finished in 500 minutes, which I can't see happening 'cos that's less than 9 hours instead of the minimum of 17 that it'll realistically take!
***
The pup was ready for her walk as soon as I called "walkies" this morning!! She was desperate for a wee as soon as I opened the front door and was squatting down for a minute longer than she usually is. She's usually finished weeing before I've even closed the front door and is desperate to start walking but she was still weeing for about a minute with me just standing there waiting for her!
Bless her furry little paws!
***
That's me 3 supplements taken too, so I'm all set for the day now!
***
The virus scan is at 52% now, so it's still doing 1% every 10 minutes, so it's currently on track for finishing at bed time after all! As long as it's at at least 90% by 8pm I'll have a late night otherwise I'll head to bed for another early night and do the back up first thing tomorrow, same as normal.
***
Had the ESA form through the post this morning. Had to get Steve to fill it out for me 'cos I can't remember how to write, but it was for income-related instead of contribution-based for some reason, which I've never had before... did they send the wrong form or is it in addition to the contribution based one??
So confusing!!
Too late to do anything about it now though 'cos it's already filled in and in the envelope!

The virus scan is at 63% now and it's 1.27pm so I doubt it'll be finished by the time I go to bed so I'll have an early night and do the backing up as soon as I come down tomorrow I reckon.

6.47pm and it's 71% of the way through the virus scan so I'm gonna head to bed for another early night.
Nite nite orl!

Wish me luck that I get awarded it!

That's me caches cleared and the weekly deep virus and malware scan started. It's currently 9.24am and it's done 5% so far. In theory it'll be finished in the early hours of Sunday morning 'cos it takes 45 hours to intensly scan my whole machine.

That's the puppy walked. It's hosing down out there so we only did 100% today. I'm wondering if the senior pup is in pain because of her refusal to get her harness on every morning? She's 9 years old so she's not young any more, but her daily reluctance to go out for her walk is starting to worry me.
I'm also wondering if her scratching and biting was because of a strong intollerence to grain instead of fleas 'cos she's still doing it every day even though we've treated her for fleas and ticks. Pooch and Mutt do a grain free diet food so I'm debating asking her vet about putting her on that to see if it stops her from biting and scratching herself.
***
We're up to 26% with the virus scanning now so I'm guessing there won't be much of a change now 'cos it's going through all my emails and stuff. It'll be maybe 30% when I come down tomorrow and stay like that all day then I'll head to bed and it'll be finished at about 1am on Sunday.
***
Just taken me morning cocktail. The Calcium was a nightmare for me to swallow all the crumbs today but the Iron and Multi went down with a single mouthful of squash each, thankfully.
***
*shuddering*
I hate answerphones!
Got a letter from a PPI thing that has gone into insolvency asking me to pay £329.39 so I've just paid £250 online and because they were a new payment I wasn't allowed to pay any more than that so I phoned them and got lumbered with an answerphone which sent me into a panic and I've got to try again tomorrow to pay the remaining £79.39.
Gonna try and do it using mobile banking again so that I don't have to speak to anyone, but if that doesn't work I'll have no choice but to do it over the phone and if they aren't there tomorrow I'll forget about it by Monday!!
Gonna have a really early night tonight 'cos I is cream crackered right now! Bet I'll still be awake at my normal bed time though, knowing my luck lol
Nite nite orl!

Our senior pup was showing soooo much Westitude this morning. Point blank refused to get her harness on no matter what me and Steve tried!
She's fine when she's got going and everything, it's just trying to motivate her to get started is all!
She eventually did 100% and her food's in her bowl waiting for her to eat it now.
Gonna take me supplements before I forget again... hold on!

I love AVG even more now 💗! I didn't think it was possible, but they have gone up even further in my sights now 👍👍👍! I contacted them on the evening of the 1st October, the refund was organised within minutes and I totally forgot about it until just now. Checked my PayPal balance and the refund was sorted by the next day!
I've moved the money into my account now but they are definitely the best company on the entire internet! They understand that people want to try out their software first so they've got a free trial of their software, when the trial is over they understand that not everyone can afford full versions so they let you keep using the software for free if you want to. If you decide to pay for the software, they put free malware protection into it for you for free too.
AVG isn't the cheapest anti-virus and anti-malware protection on the web, but I wouldn't go anywhere else now!! You get more than you pay for with them and for the couple of quid difference you get awesome protection, support and problem sorting from them!

Just heard Take That's new single and it's not as bad as I was dreading! It's another new sound for them that will take a bit of getting used to, but if the whole album is in that sound then at least it will be listenable to, unlike their previous one that I listened to a grand total of a handful of times then never listened to it again.
Might even get the single for the first time since the early 1990s so that I can support them to keep going and stuff. The new sound is OK, just not as good as their mid-late 90s stuff is all, unfortunately.
***
Can't find anywhere online that will let me buy the MP3 and not even Spotify has got it for streaming or anything so I'm at a loss! I'm gonna try Take That's official site for the last chance then give up if it's not available on there. 😕
***
Nope, nothing on the homepage or even Universal Music, so I've given up now 😒. Going by how hard it was to find it, I don't think I'll try again in future... they obviously don't want to make things easy for their fans, so I won't make it easy for them either! 😞

Nothing else was found, so everything is still hunky dorey and I really am going to bed this time! lol

The puppy was reluctant to go for her stroll today. Was a nightmare to get her off the sofa and into her harness then when I eventually got her out of the door she only wanted to do 50% of the walk! I encouraged her to do the full length and she refused to move away from the front door that time so it's a good job she'd completed the compulsory 100% by then! lol
***
Fed and watered the pup but I haven't taken me morning cocktail yet 'cos someone came to the door just as I was about to get them out of the drawer!
***
It was the cushion and hearing aid batteries that I bought with the vouchers I had for my birthday and I'm loving the cushion already! The pup has now got cushions to lie on because it was too high up for me to even perch on with the added height of the new cushion!
Gonna leave a 5 star review of it on Amazon and this blog now... the review will be below or above this post 'cos I don't publish this until I'm about to shut down for the night.
***
That's me daily cocktail taken. That's the last of the hayfever pills taken and I genuinely didn't get any benefit from them at all. Only wasted £20ish this time though 'cos they were Sainsbury's own brand as opposed to at least triple that amount for big name brands that work equally c**ply.
I'm sure that some people get benefit from them, it's just that I never have is all and I've suffered since childhood, spent hundreds on every hayfever pill over the 3 decades that I've had hayfever and none of them have ever worked and people don't believe me when I tell them that!
Only got 3 pills to take every morning instead of 4 now though! 👍👍
***
Got $1.79 in survey rewards overnight. I agree that it's not an earth-shattering amount, but every cent matters, I reckon!

First survey of the day was, thankfully, quick and easy to complete!

Product review: NRS Healthcare easy rise cushion
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
This cushion has just arrived and it's nice and light to move around, well packaged and fits onto one side of the sofa perfectly.
It's nice and high and seems to easily return to it's shape within seconds of getting up.
If, like me, you have issues getting up from a chair or sofa easily and without pain, definitely invest in one of these! It's double the height of other foam you can get on the High Street so it's prolly the only cushion you'll need to sit on to get to the height you need to be able to stand up from sitting.
I'm only 41 but I've inhereted me mum and grandmothers knees so always dreaded having to stand up and had to straighten my legs several times a day which I'd wrongly assumed that I'd have to put up with for the rest of my life. Not any more though!
If you suffer from knee pain when you're sitting down and/or struggle to stand up, definitely invest in this. It's not cheap but it's definitely worth every penny!

Just got back from walking the pup.
She poo'd in 3 totally separate area's so I had to bend over 3 times to pick it all up! Was feeling weak before I even took her out so doubled the risk of falling flat on my face each time too!
Because of the pooing, we did 150% this morning, so there's 50% in the bank after 2 days.
She's already eaten her food so I've just gotta take me morning cocktail now then that's it for the day. If anyone comes to the door they'll just have to wait for me to slowly get to the door 'cos I'm not rushing for anyone now... just don't want to risk it.

Just taken me morning cocktail. Got 1 hayfever pill left to take tomorrow and, as predicted, they did bugger all to help my hayfever. Hopefully the people that insisted I try them will believe me next year!

That's the pup walked, fed and watered... she wanted to go for her walk before me this morning!
Cleared up and binned the pup's poo from the back yard all on me own this week... t'was a struggle but I still managed it.
The rubbish bag, cardboard bag and recycling are all out too without any arguments this week!
Go team!
Just gotta take me morning cocktail now and wait for Mitzi's flea treatment to turn up then I can relax for the day!
***
The hayfever pill, Iron and Multi went down with no probs at all, but the Calcium crumbs went everywhere again. Took 3 mouthfuls of squash to get 'em all down and I is bloated now, because of it! 😞
***
Had a tiny square of Steve's lemon drizzle cake between the hayfever pill and the 3 supplements and can still taste it now! Yuckerama!

That's the yearbook finished with and the spreadsheet updated... not bad for 2 days work!

Mitzi's flea and tick treatment has just arrived so we'll put it on her after Steve's finished watching the new Dr Who... he's already complained that there hasn't been any "twiddly intro music yet" and it's only been going for 3 minutes! lol

The pup was awesome about having her treatment sorted and she's protected for 8 weeks now too which is brilliant... just need to remember to put the second dose on - I can almost guarantee I'll forget, so I hope Steve remembers lol

OK, put the 2 future treatments into my laptop's calendar... just need to remember where I've put the box now! lol

22 years, 4 hours and 18 minutes ago I lost my second twin. Gonna be another downer today, but this is why I always dread my birthday and haven't celebrated it for 22 years!

Yesterday's birthday cardigan has just arrived and I love it!!! It fits perfectly, it's not too long despite my petite body and assuming the elbows don't disintegrate before Christmas, it's gonna be a daily staple for me too!
Nice and thick/chunky as well as cozily warm, I'm not going to need 10 layers even if it snows for 4 months... I love it soooo much!!!
Assuming the jacket is equally warm I'm gonna be a very warm, happy camper over the colder months... can't wait for the snow now, just to try it out in below freezing temperatures!!
Thank you so so much to the manufacturer for coming up with such an awesome cardigan! It's 56% off the usual price too, so snap it up fast while it's better than half price!

This has just arrived and I already love it... assuming it isn't destroyed in the wash and the elbows don't wear out within a couple of months, it'll be a staple of my wardrobe over the winter months!
WTG FIYOTE!!!
The virus scan takes 45 hours
The virus scan finished 2 hours ago so it takes 45 hours instead of the 30 it did a couple of weeks ago so I'll know for next week now.

Been spoilt rotten today! Thank you for the three cards and gifts and all the birthday wishes on Facebook! I really appreciate all of them! The postman/woman is going to hate us tomorrow 'cos I've got 3 packages and Steve's got one, all arriving tomorrow! 😃
***
Just bought a flea and tick destroyer to hopefully ease the pup's scratching until the New Year. Poor little pup will hopefully get some relief by the end of the weekend.
***
Cheesy chips and baked beans for me birthday tea and I is full to the brim now! lol
***
Just taken me prescription and I'm wiped out after todays shopathon so I'm heading to bed now... nite nite again orl!

Thursday 4th October 2018
Just set AVG running a deep scan. When I did it last Friday it wasn't even at 50% after 2.5 days, yet when I did it the Thursday before that it was done and dusted in 30 hours.
Dunno what that extra days difference was, but if it completes it in 30 hours again this time I'll set the scan going on a Thursday morning each week instead of a Friday 'cos I definitely want to do a weekly deep scan, but not if it takes 3 days before it reaches even half way. Makes no difference to me which day I do it on, I just chose Friday because it's the last day of the working week is all so moving it to a Thursday is absolutely fine!
***
12% done and it's only been going for 20 minutes so, in theory, it'll be another 30 hour job again 'cos this is how quick it was done two weeks ago!
***
26% twenty minutes later so it's achieved almost as much in twenty minutes on a Thursday as it did in 12 hours last Friday! Not gonna get too excited by it 'cos it got stuck at 35% for over 10 hours last week, but as long as it's over 30% by the time I head to bed tonight and 45% by the time I come down tomorrow, it's on track for finishing in 30 hours again!
***
Just got back from walking the pup. We came home after 100% today 'cos there's no way I could have safely done even 10% more. The pup wanted to keep walking, bless her, but for safety reasons we had to retire the car for this session (or whatever the motor racing wordage is). Last week's walkathon really took it out of me so I'm gonna have to go easy on the lengths for a while now so that my body can slowly recover.
***
The pup is eating her breakfast now but this is the second day she hasn't poo'd either on her walk, during the day or overnight! If she still hasn't poo'd by the time we come back from her walk tomorrow, I'll ask about what we should do on one of the Facebook groups to see if they can come up with any suggestions. Her last 2 poo's were sort of squitty so maybe there just isn't any poo left inside her atm?
***
Just taken me morning cocktail and they all went down amazingly easily this morning! Even the Calcium crumbs went down with a single mouthful of squash!!
Total awesomeness and so much different to yesterday!
***
Me prescription has just arrived, so I'm all set for the next 5 weeks now... yaaaay!
***
Just got my first ever freebie through the post from Pampers... a single nappy, wipes and 2 coupons for money off my next purchase, which is so totally awesome! Didn't have a clue that they were coming to me, but hopefully this is the start of a deluge and it's worth those few minutes a day applying for freebies!
***
First survey of the day completed! Only took a couple of minutes too!
***
Second survey done... that one only took a couple of minutes too!
***
Third survey done and dusted... all three were for the same company though so i hope I get the full, promised rewards for all three as opposed to nothing at all 'cos I followed three different links and got told all three times that I'd get the reward within 5-7 days!
***
Just answered the door to Steve's tea so I'm off to bed now... nite nite orl!

That's the puppy walked and fed.
She forced me to walk 150% this morning so there's 50% in the bank after 3 days and I seriously couldn't have walked any further today 'cos me legs are exhausted and me knees are painful. I'm gonna struggle to move for the rest of the day now. Walking the equivalent of double the distance every day last week really has taken it all out of me so the only time I'm gonna leave the sofa today is to go to the bathroom 'cos I seriously can't move any further today.
***
First survey of the day done and dusted.
***
Supplements taken... had to crunch up the Multi as well as the Calcium because I just couldn't swallow it for some bizarre reason today. 😞 I've got a gross taste in my mouth now too, because of the multi 😒
***
Having half a packet of curry crisps to hopefully take the taste away then a couple of cheese and onion pasties each for lunch... I feel sorry for anyone I come into contact with today and tomorrow lol
***
I've had to resort to opening a can of ginger beer to calm my stomach down... crunching up the multi was a seriously bad idea but my throat was closing and there was no other way that I could take it! 😟
***
Did the shopping earlier and can't remember how I've spent the rest of the day so I'm gonna take me prescription and wait for the quick virus scan to finish then head to bed.
***
That's me prescription taken and I'm virus free but still can't remember how I spent the afternoon other than having Burger King food for tea... everything else is completely lost to the brain damage again!
***
Going to bed now... nite nite orl and sorry for such a short and boring blog post today!

Tuesday 2nd October 2018
The puppy only wanted to do 100% again today which is cool and groovy but there's still nothing in the bank. I think last week's walk-athon (700% extra by Sunday afternoon) took it out of both of us and we need this week to recover!
***
Morning cocktail taken... all four pills behaved this morning! Even the Calcium only took 2 mouthfuls of squash to get all the crumbs swallowed, which is awesome!
***
First survey of the day completed... that's already 100% more than yesterday! 😮
***
Just scanned my likkle laptop and I'm still virus and malware free, thankfully.
***
Second survey finished... had to install a bit of software for the next 6 weeks for this one!
***
Taken me prescription and my repeat was issued yesterday, so hopefully I'll have it in me hands at the end of the week.
***
Third survey done and dusted.
***
I is totally cream crackered, so I'm gonna publish this then head to bed for an early night.
Nite nite orl!

A pinch and a punch
for the first of the month!
and all that jazz
***
Just taken our senior pup for her walk and we only did 100% this morning which is fine and dandy, considering there was 700% in the bank at the end of last week. As long as she does 100% every day I'll be happy and if she wants to keep walking then that's a bonus, but I won't pressure her to walk any further if she doesn't want to, like this morning.
***
That's me morning cocktail taken. The Calcium crumbs went everywhere and it took 3 mouthfuls of squash to get 'em all down, but other than that they all went down OK this morning.

Great customer service from some selling on Amazon... I emailed them at the end of last week and said that I still haven't had the item so they said to give it another 48 hours and if it still hasn't turned up, let them know and they'll get another one in the post! They even replied on a Sunday afternoon/evening too and in less than an hour of me contacting them too!
They'll be getting a 5 star rating from me when the item eventually turns up... sometimes getting things from smaller businesses on Amazon's marketplace is worth more because they care about their customers than huge multi-national companies like Amazon, where everything is automated and it's often like getting blood out of a stone to get a human to reply to emails at Amazon too!!

AVG are fantastic!! If you are after good quality, high protection anti-virus and anti-malware protection, definitely go with AVG... in less than 15 minutes with the sales bods with their online chat thingy, they found that I had 2 different accounts which is what I was billed for and paid for last night.
Less than 15 minutes later with no pressure either way, all totally my choices, I've got rid of the single computer protection that I was billed for last night but I'm still protected for unlimited devices until January 2020 and the refund process has been started.
All sorted really quickly and easily at almost 9pm on a Monday night!
They offer a free version of the anti-virus software, but if you can afford to pay for it then it's definitely worth it many times over!
They aren't the cheapest but what you get for the few pounds extra is soooo worth it! I can safely surf the interwebs and read my emails and download things as well as being able to upload updates to the writing software, all without worry!
As long as you can safely download one programme, get AVG downloaded and installed just to initially protect you and try out. If you love it as much as I do, definitely pay for the full version so that you're protected from malware too then you can safely use the internet knowing that you are totally protected!
It's the first thing I do after a new computer purchase or reinstall of Windows, even before I've set my email accounts up so that I'm protected from the very start!
