...a few things on Tuesday's order that are quick and easy for me to do for us on the 4-5 days my carer doesn't want to cook - it's just waffles and lattices and pizza baguettes and things like that, but I can just get 'em out of the freezer, pop them on a baking tray and bung 'em in the oven for 20 minutes then dish up and it'd mean that I'd get *something* in my belly each day instead of just water.
The current totals break down like this:
My stuff: £1.00
Steve's stuff: £24.88
Joint stuff: £11.44
which is much better. Steve's stuff is still the majority of the shop, but at least the joint stuff is in double figures too right now.
He wants to do a frozen shop at Iceland, so I've said that if we can get our big freezer considerably emptier before the end of February, then we can do a huge frozen shop at the beginning of March. I'm more than happy to do that and he's agreed the timeline, but I'm predicting right now that it just ain't gonna realistically happen based on the last few months. I'm happy to get things that can be quickly done by me (like waffles and hash browns and stuff like that), but if we just get more and more frozen stuff that just won't be used then we won't have anywhere to store it which will piss me off 'cos it'll be yet more wasted money that I really can't afford to lose.
