How are you all doing this morning?

I've got my sight test this morning and I'm guessing, purely by the time it is, that I'm the second appointment of the day, so I will hopefully be back well before 11am.  We're having lasagnes for lunch and I'm hoping to soak my knackered body in a long, hot, bubble bath between getting home and having lunch, so I hope there's enough water to half fill the bath, otherwise I'll be boiling the kettle 'cos I refuse to be in pain today, after the week I've had.

I've just set up a natty little bit within my mobile banking app that means all my debit card transactions are rounded up to the nearest pound and automatically popped into my savings account, so today's optician money will hopefully be rounded up and the groceries will hopefully be rounded up each week too.  I don't think it applies to Direct Debits or Standing Orders, just debit card transactions, but that's fine by me and makes for considerably easier calculations too!  Steve says he's done it with his too, and it only took a couple of minutes from finding out about it to it being set up, which is even better!

The daily virus scan is under way and I'm pondering on taking a painkiller for my knee, but wanna wait until 8.30am at the earliest to take it, so that it keeps me as pain-free as possible while I'm in town.

I've taken my morning pills so I hopefully won't be needing a wee as soon as I set foot outside of the house this morning, 'cos there's no way I'll be able to hold it in during the test and I really don't fancy wetting myself somewhere so public either!

Gotta remember to ask for a couple of packets of glasses screws and see if they can recycle my previous pair of glasses at the optician too... soo much to remember lol
