I've spent this morning studying a course on Dementia and I passed first time, thankfully. Only got 2 questions wrong out of 25 which is pretty good going I reckon.
Steve's already decided to go against the menu and has said (this is a direct quote) "I'll have ham, cheese and pickle sarnies when you make my lunch and ham, chicken and mustard when you make me tea so that I can start to clear the meat mountain I reckon" so it'll be 9-0 to me by the time I head to bed tonight and makes me grateful that I had breakfast this morning so that I didn't go without a meal for the third day on the trot. I've just asked him what time his medical appointment is tomorrow and when he told me, I asked him if he was going to have today's MugShot instead of soup and he said (a direct quote again) "nah, soup will be fine when you make it tomorrow" so it'll be 12-0 to me after 4 days and I'm predicting that he'll find an excuse not to cook from Friday to Sunday, 'cos he always does, so I'll be living on 5 breakfasts and nothing else all week... apparently he makes all my meals and drinks for me though <shrug>
The virus scan was clear and the backups are chugging away ready for the next 7 days.
I've just gotta keep caring for my carer for another 37 minutes then I'll be working overtime again and my carer hasn't even achieved that all week so far for me. I've just gotta put in another 5 hours and 5 minutes this week to have hit the minimum, so I'll be working overtime when I've made Steve's lunch and taken his plate out for him when he's finished eating his second meal of the day.
I'd best go and make myself a drink while the backups are finishing off 'cos my throat is as dry as a desert right now, but that doesn't matter, right Steve?
