How are you all getting along this too-early morning?
I'm doing OK... gotta remember to phone my MIL and check to see what time Marie's coming to pick me up for my appointment 'cos I thought it was an hour later than it actually is but he got the time right when I asked him yesterday.
I'm charging up my phone, watch and FitBit, but I won't be taking my phone with me unless I need to call a taxi, but hopefully that won't happen so I won't need to take my bag with me.
I've taken one of my pills this morning and I'll take the supplements when I get back so that they don't screw up the test result.
I've already cared for my carer for pretty much 1 hour this morning and it was 11 hours and 50 minutes by the time I was allowed to go to bed last night, so I've already cared for my carer for very nearly 49 hours this week and my carer has achieved a huge 6 hours and 10 minutes so far this week, so he just needs to put in 10 hours of care a day between now and bedtime on Sunday to hit the minimum that he says he does. I'm letting him sleep more than normal so that he can recover from caring for me for 5 hours on Wednesday - it's really taken it out of him, bless him. He'll be able to sleep deeply while I'm at my medical appointment though as well as his usual 9-ish hours of sleep that he usually gets during the day too.
I'm not gonna do the news again today, but things should be back to normal again tomorrow for 10 days before my next medical appointment then that's hopefully it for another year.
When Steve wakes up, I'll go and make his breakfast for him. I'll get my own too if there are enough clean bowls and spoons but if there's only one bowl and spoon then I'll go hungry until lunchtime again.
Steve's made one meal so far this week and I've made 11 of his and he hasn't made a single drink for me yet again... apparently he makes all my meals and drinks for me though <shrug>
The Green Man and Gaia answered yesterday's prayer 'cos it rained again overnight so I won't need to do the watering this morning.
Steve's awake and gone for his poo now "then I'll get washed and get out of your way to make breakfast" so looks like he's assuming that I'll make breakfast every morning now as well as his tea every evening and the majority of lunches too. I'm giving him the rest of the week to recover then we'll hopefully go back to normal next week with him making more than 2 or 3 meals a week... in reality though, I'm seriously doubting it'll happen like that and I'll end up making the vast majority of meals again even though he claims he makes them all <shrug>
He's gotta phone the electricity bods today too, like he promised that he would yesterday - you'll have to forgive me for doubting that'll happen too.
It's SuperRice (for Steve) and Cous Cous (for me) on the menu again for today, so I'm predicting that I'll be making the lunch again today for the 4th time this week and that after I've stood up to make Steve's rice I won't be able to safely stay on my feet for long enough to make my cous cous, so I'll be going hungry at lunchtime for the 3rd day this week, so I guess I'd best have a bowl of granola for breakfast instead of the smoothie then.
Steve's out of the bathroom now and to give him credit, he's boiling the kettle, so there will hopefully be enough water for me to have a hot bath in a couple of weeks, then the emersion will be off until we get our hairs cut again.
My FitBit has finished charging up now and is back around my ankle, so I'd best make the most of the opportunity of Steve being awake to sort out the forum and run the daily virus scan now I s'pose.
