...my last two pills of the day after making my carer's second meal of the day for him (he made himself spaghetti and sauce for lunch and I've only had granola for breakfast, 3 drinking chocolates, a decaff coffee and 2 lemon tea's all day, but that doesn't seem to matter). I'll be making oodles of toast (as in 4 slices so about 2,000 calories from the spread alone and by the time you've added in the bread, it'll be about 3,000 calories in one meal for him) for my carer's breakfast tomorrow, then be too unstable to make my own. Tomorrow's entire calorie count for me will be coming from the lunchtime pasta bake, assuming I can motivate my carer to cook it.
I've now cared for my carer for over 12 hours today, so it'll prolly be getting on for 13 hours by the time I head to bed. My carer has provided 1 hour and 47 minutes of care this week, so even if he spent every second caring for me between now and midnight tomorrow, there's no way he can hit the minimum required to be officially recognised as a carer 'cos there are less than 30 hours left of the week. Assuming he makes lunch tomorrow and does the washing up tonight, he might just about scrape through 3 hours for his weekly total, which is less than 10% of the minimum required but I'm on track for getting close to 90 hours this week... I won't hit it 'cos I haven't provided 5 hours more than normal every day, but I might get up to 88 or even 89 hours 'cos of putting in close to a 15 hour day once this week and the others have been around the 13 hour mark. I've already worked double a full time jobs hours this week and I'm not being paid a penny for it let alone being recognised for it like my so-called carer is!
I'm sure you all know that rant by heart now though and you're sick to death of it, right?
