This week's grocery totals break down like this:

My stuff:  £5.73
Steve's stuff:  £21.59
Joint stuff:  £21.70

So for a very rare change, the stuff for both of us is just about the most expensive, which is just what it should be and Steve's stuff is the next most expensive at 11p cheaper and my stuff is less than a third of that, but that's OK as long as my carer has got what he wants and it doesn't matter that the majority of his stuff will be wasted yet again 'cos it's not him paying for it.
