..."leave off the watering 'cos there was a fair bit of rain last night" and the soil does look black, so I'll leave it until tonight before I water them and Steve's having a wash at the kitchen sink (which is totally gross) so I'll do the rubbish and recycling after I've taken my morning pills, then make our breakfast when that's done and Steve's come back in.
