...blaming myself for Steve's death.
If I hadn't been asleep for all those hours or I'd been desperate for a wee in the middle of the night, I could have found him sooner and phoned for an ambulance sooner who would have got the fire brigade sooner who would have got him out sooner then he would have got into the ambulance and hospital sooner and he wouldn't have died.
It's all my fault and I'll never forgive myself for causing his death.
