Mornin' all

How are you all doing today?


So far this morning I've:

  • Taken my morning pills
  • Run the daily virus scan (still clear)
  • Recovered the caring spreadsheet 'cos Excel didn't close properly last night
  • Checked my email
  • Cared for my carer for a smidgen over an hour


I was sooo close to caring for my carer for 15 hours yesterday... if I'd started caring for him literally 6 minutes earlier in the morning then it would have been a 15 hour day for me, which is three days worth of caring in one day and my carer has only cared for me for an hour and 19 minutes so far this week, so unless he puts in a minimum of 8½ hours a day, every day, between now and bedtime on Sunday, there's no way he'll hit the minimum again.  When I went to see the Neurologist, that was a 3 hour week and the same with the MRI, but they are rare occurances.


When Steve has finished 💩 pooing and had his wash in the kitchen sink, I'll go and make his breakfast for him.  He's got a medical appointment just after lunch, so I'll be having my lunch (potato waffles) at lunchtime then making his lunch (stew) for him when he gets home.


I'm gonna start my laps again so that I can try and keep my weight where it is... it's only gonna be once a day a few times a week instead of every day and I'm not gonna push myself too hard.  If my calorie graph isn't red then I won't do the laps, but if it is then I'll put in a few laps to take my step count higher and burn a few calories to take it back down to green.  If the graph is blue then I won't be doing the laps that day at all so that I can try and burn as few calories as possible that day.  Right now I need to burn off the calories from Monday and yesterday, but Tuesday was a blue bar day so I won't be needing to burn off any calories from that day, so just half an hour or so today I reckon.
