...and I'm 2 hours late for my afternoon pill, so I'd best take it now while I remember.
The entire morning (including 2 taxi fares) only cost £82 instead of the £1,000 that I was thinking, so I'm well happy with that!
I'ave got a set of reading glasses as well as "everyday wear" glasses 'cos apparently my near vision is screwing up now... it's only taken 33 years though, so I'm pretty happy with that and I *am* middle aged now too lol
BRB while I take my afternoon pill.
OK, it's down the hatch now, so I'm dosed up until tonight, thankfully.
Where was I? Yeah, I now need one set for the computer and reading and the other pair for everything else. The frames I've chosen aren't actually that bad looking on me... just need to get used to much lighter frames than my current pair is all.
We had a celebratory Subway for lunch so we're both totally stuffed and I'm burping for England again. I've still got crisps and cookies to eat too lol
The lasagnes are on hold until tomorrow, as is my bubble bath but I've already done the minimum steps today and I'm significantly wobbly on slopes, so wanna try and work on those a bit more before I need to go back and pick up my glasses in a couple of weeks. My walking on level ground is sooo much better than last year though, so I'm thinking my laps have helped more with my stability than I thought!
I've got photo's of my lunch, so I'll resize those and put them up in my next blog post.
It's definitely not gonna be an 80 hour week this week, but I'm risking the hope that it'll be at least 70, if not 75 hours. My carer, OTOH, hasn't even made it an hour of care for me this week, let alone the 35 hour minimum!!
