In the last 7 days...

...Steve has made 3 of my meals and I've made 15 of his.  He had a Subway for his tea on Friday and was apparently in too much pain to eat breakfast yesterday morning but other than that, I've made every one of his meals since lunchtime on Wednesday as well as every drink that he's wanted, but I've had a packet of crisps and 6 biscuits on Thursday, 6 biscuits and 2 slices of bread and spread on Friday, 10 biscuits and a mug of soup yesterday and 2 slices of bread and spread all day today.  I last had breakfast on Wednesday morning so have had to survive on literally 22 biscuits, a packet of crisps, mug of soup and 4 slices of bread and spread since then while Steve's had 20 proper meals... so much for me wanting to put on weight this week and him making all of my meals and drinks eh?


I hope I'm wrong, but I can see it being the same for the rest of October, then we'll have a freezer full of meat at the beginning of November that I'll have to encourage Steve to get through ('cos I'm vegetarian) 'cos of NaNo which'll take the best part of the rest of November, so I'll barely eat then either, might just about get back to being able to eat again in December, then Steve'll want meat again in January too so I can't see me having regular meals until at least February 'cos there won't be room for vegetarian stuff in amongst all of Steve's meat, so I'll be living on soup, bread and spread between the end of October and the begining of February at the earliest.  I won't even be able to fill up on toast 'cos Steve gets through the best part of 3 loaves a week, just for him so I'm reliant on having half a loaf of bread a week to get my calories up, assuming there's enough money left over to get it otherwise I'm left with crisps and biscuits, but if we can't even cram half a loaf of bread onto the shopping, there's no way I can afford to get those either!


I'll just have to get my calories from hot chocolates again 😞
