Looks like I'll be having a barely tepid bath tomorrow, 'cos my carer decided to use all the hot water in the emersion tank to get washed this morning. It's been on for the last 5 days and Steve's known for at least a month that I needed the hot water to wash my hair in the shower for the first time this year on Thursday, but he decided to use the entire tank to get washed in this morning, so I'll be having a tepid shower today and a cold bath to try and recover from my eye test on Friday. He said "so you expect me to get washed in cold water then?" and I'm like "I never have a choice after you've used all the hot water up!"
Looks like I'll be wearing my coat as well as 3 layers when I get out of the shower today 'cos there's no way he'll turn the heater on "because I'm so bloody hot" then he'll open the door so that he can cool down and I get even colder - if I don't end up with a rotten cold before the end of next week I'll be amazed! As long as my carer is comfortable then that's all that matters, right?
He's also got his delivery "coming today that'll be bloody heavy so I hope it doesn't mess you up too badly when you bring it in for me" and it's coming by DHL so I bet they don't even knock on the door and just leave it in the middle of the pavement, but that alright innit Steve?
I'd best go and make his breakfast for him now.
I've taken my morning pills and the weekly virus scan is under way so hopefully my day will improve from now on.
