That's the...

...virus scan finished (still no nasties to be found, reassuringly), news completed and backups started, so I just need to remember not to open my email programmes or save anything to my hard drive until it's finished.

My carer has been asleep for over an hour since he last woke up, so todays caring totals look like this:

Carer caring for me:  0 hours and 0 minutes
Me caring for my carer:  4 hours and 6 minutes

Which take the weekly totals up to:

Carer caring for me:  1 hour 12 minutes
Me caring for my carer:  24 hours 56 minutes

So to hit the minimum of 35 hours a week to be considered a carer, we need to provide:

Carer's care for me:  33 hours and 48 minutes
My care of my carer:  10 hours and 4 minutes

Basically my carer needs to provide over 8 hours of care for me every day from now until I head to bed on Sunday to hit the minimum and I'm very likely to have hit the minimum before 9am tomorrow then I'll be working overtime again.  I doubt I'll hit 80 hours this week 'cos I've only put in 10 hour days so far this week, but 75 hours should be easy enough to achieve.

Can I make a prediction for the rest of this week?  I'm predicting that I'll get less than 3 hours of care from my carer again this week and I'll pretty easily more than double the minimum required by the time I head to bed on Sunday.

My backups are 37% of the way through atm, so I don't reckon they'll be finished much before 2pm, so I'll be making my carers lunch and going hungry again myself... good job that I had breakfast this morning really, innit?

Time to go and make myself my fourth drink of this morning I reckon.

BBIAB.
