...that 2 of my illnesses which I'd always assumed were purely psychiactric are actually considered to be Neurodivergent! Just gotta remember to add that to my writing CV and query letters and stuff now, but my cruddy sight has a diagnosis too as well as being at risk of getting a detatched retina, so it really is one thing after another for me. I prefer to have loads of diagnoses though, so that I know that I'm not the only one who has ever gone through it... I prefer to have names of what's wrong with me than just being told that I'm a medical mystery. It doesn't change anything, but knowing that I'm not the only person going through it and has ever gone through it, really puts my mind at ease that maybe, just maybe, there will be more research into it in future.
